Retomando nuestros últimos capítulos acerca del posicionamiento en buscadores, hemos tratado de darte unos consejos sobre cómo indexar correctamente tu página web en los principales buscadores. Una vez estos pasos conseguidos, ahora, debemos luchar para estar en las primeras posiciones de los resultados de búsqueda. Para conseguirlo, primero debemos entender cómo los buscadores ordenan los resultados cuando tienen que mostrarlos a un usuario, tras una búsqueda.

Los algoritmos

La palabra algoritmo (o algorismo) viene la palabra árabe Al-Khwarizmi, sobrenombre del matemático que creó el álgebra Mohamed ben Musa, y que vivió entre los años 780 y 840. Sus obras fueron traducidas al latín en Toledo algunos años después y el nombre de algoritmo/algorismo se extendió por la cristiandad como sinónimo de cualquier conjunto ordenado y finito de operaciones que permite resolver un problema concreto.

Es decir: un algoritmo es una fórmula matemática que resuelve un problema.

Aplicado a los buscadores, los algoritmos se utilizan para una vez dado un valor numérico a ciertos factores (como la importancia de una página, las veces que se cita una palabra, dónde está situada esa palabra en el contexto de la página, etc.), hallar un resultado final numérico, que sirva para ordenar las página web.

Ante todo, 3 puntos a tener en cuenta:

Cada buscador tiene sus propios algoritmos de ordenación.
Los algoritmos cambian constantemente. Los responsables de los principales buscadores están constantemente modificando sus algoritmos para poder ofrecer mejor servicio a sus usuarios y ofrecer mejores resultados.
Los algoritmos son secretos, con tiempo y paciencia, puedes llegar a conocer qué factores intervienen en él y en qué orden de importancia lo hacen. Pero jamás puedes llegar a conocerlos al 100%.

El algoritmo de Google

Para estudiar los algoritmos de ordenación de los buscadores tomaremos como modelo el algoritmo de Google. Los algoritmos de Yahoo y de MSN son bastante parecidos en cuanto a las variables que lo forman, aunque cada uno tiene sus peculiaridades.

Las páginas que están bien posicionadas en Google, también suelen estarlo en los otros buscadores... aunque no aparecezcan en las mismas posiciones ya que cada uno de estos buscadores da importancia a diferentes aspectos de una página web. Tus páginas deben estar pensadas para todos los buscadores, aunque aquí, sólo tratemos cómo estar bien posicionado en Google.

Lamentablemente un gran porcentaje del mercado Latino no han visto su poitencial del Internet. y por ende han perdido de acaparar más y más clientes, y todo por el simple hecho de no estar actualizado., Esta acostrunbrado a ofrecer sus servicios o productos a los clientes en las formas tradicionales (Telemarketing, Radio, TV, y Medios Impresos), El Mercadeo por internet es la nueva era de la poblicidad, ademas de ser una publicidad muy inovadora para encontrar los nuevos clientes o los clientes encontrarnos, ya sea desde el confort de sus hogares, desde sus oficinas o de cualquier lugar con acceso al Internet.

Todos los dias empresas y personas se estan involucrando cada vez más en las compras atraves del Internet, y para muchos de ellos ya es indispensable hacer compras o buscar un servicio en Internet (las compras por Internet fueron $172 billion en 2005 – Forrester Research).

Muy probablemente con estrategias, tecnicas muy diferentes y nuevos comportamientos de los clientes.

Lamentablemente existe un problema creciente. Cada día salen a la calle cientos de profesionales que ofrecen el servicio de Mercadeo por Internet: número uno, solo saben lo que leen en otras paginas Web que ofrecen estos servicios, número dos, no tienen sitio Web y número tres sus propios sitios Web tienes una pesima posicion en los motores de busqueda. En muy pocos anos muchas escuelas tecnicas tendran en sus programas una materia dedicada exclusivamente al Mercadeo por Internet.

Es alarmante ver como aparecen y luego desaparecen sitios Web cada dia, sin darse cuenta por que fracasan. paginas Web con disenos espectaculares ofreciendo excelentes productos y servicios.

En fin, pretendo con esto crear una incógnita, sembrar una semilla en la mente de los empresarios, estudiantes, profesionales en mercadeo y público en general. Lo que muchos utilizan para chatear y ver correos, otros lo utilizan para generar dinero, y hablo de mucho dinero.

El tema del Mercadeo por Internet como tal es demasiado amplio para ser abarcado en un solo artículo. Sería casi imposible hablar de todo lo que se puede hacer, conseguir y/o ganar en Internet, lo hare en varios articulos.
